About Journey Blue Heaven Journey was raised near Woodstock, New York. This area has been and still is home to many legendary musicians. Journey attended Berkelee School of Music where she studied trumpet. Her songwriting ability began to flourish and soon was leading her own band, called The Journey Blue Heaven Band. She plays a hard driving twelve string guitar. She takes command of the stage and delivers an exciting show every time. She is comfortable as a performer in several genres. Journey can sing jazz standards with amazing abandonment that only a few could have acquired from a life time of perfecting their craft. She can lead a horn section with her trumpet and rock the room with her innate funky sound. She is comfortable as a backup singer and loves to contribute to the whole sound of other artist that she works with. Journey has worked with Ari-up, (Ariana), former member of a girl punk band from England called the Slits.
